BALMORAL & MAYWOOD STAKE PAYMENTS DUE

 

Balmoral and Maywood Park would like to remind horsemen that nomination payments are due on Feb. 15^th for several big three-year-old stakes events and the American National Aged Stakes.

At Balmoral Park nomination payments are due for the American National three-year-old colt pace, three-year-old filly pace, three-year-old colt trot and three-year-old filly trot. Nomination payments are also due for the American National Aged Pace and Aged Trot. All of these stakes will be contested on Saturday, November 9^th.

Nomination payments are also due for Hanover Stakes for three-year-olds pacing and trotting colts and fillies. Those events will be contested on June 29^th & July 13^th.

All Super Night nomination payments for Illinois bred three-year-olds are due as well. Illinois’ biggest night of racing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14^th.

Nomination payments for the Maywood Pace and Filly Maywood Pace at Maywood Park are due by Feb. 15^th as well. The Filly Maywood Pace will be held on Friday, June 14^th while the Maywood Pace will be one week later on Friday, June 21^st.

The nomination payments for the Windy City Pace and Cinderella Stake which will be held on Friday, Nov. 15^th are also due.

Also, a brief hiatus (Feb. 3^rd-Feb. 12^th) live racing resumes on Wednesday, Feb. 13^th at Balmoral Park. A $12,500 “Winners Over” trot headlines a very solid program which gets underway at 7:10 p.m. (central). Maywood Park resumes live racing on Thursday, Feb. 14^th with a Valentines Day dinner special being offered in the dining room and a carryover of more than $1,000 in the Pick 6 pool. Once again post time for the opener on Thursday at Maywood Park is 7:10 p.m. (central).
