MAYWOOD WILL RACE DESPITE AREA ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

        As the old saying goes “the show must go on” and that’s exactly what will happen on Friday night at Maywood Park.

After strong winds knocked down a power line in the area earlier in the day Maywood has been left without power throughout its clubhouse and grandstand area. However, the tracks outside lighting system was not affected so racing will take place despite the clubhouse and grandstands being closed to the general public.

          Fans of Maywood Park will still be able to watch and wager on the races at their favorite OTB or Intertrack facility as well as through ADW accounts.

          Live racing will begin as usual at 7:20 p.m.
