Horse of the Night
ALL FIRED UP (2ND) : Gelding has sure been sharp while opening his second season with a pair of wire to wire victories here at Maywood Park. He was under wraps in both of those starts and he’s right back in at the same level tonight. The only other speed in the race has drawn outside of him so he should be able to make the front without too much trouble here. As long as he avoids an early duel he should be good for another this evening.

Keep an Eye On These
FIVE COUGARS A (1ST) : Came up a nose short in a much better effort last time out. He is always dangerous at this level and since he’s drawn inside of his main rival I will give him the nod in here.
LENNOX BLUE CHIP (7TH) : Drops from the Invitational ranks where he finished third in his last outing. His last win came at this level back on April 6th and his 2012 best came on this oval so let’s give him the nod in here.
OMAHA SURVIVOR (11TH) : Ships back from Balmoral where he flashed good speed before fading late in his last. He’s paced some big miles on this track over the years and he appears well placed with this group.

Backstretch Info
FOX VALLEY IVAN (4TH) : Speedball has been razor sharp of late with three wins, two seconds and a third in his last six starts. He’s won two in a row at this level and now he gets the inside post as he looks to extend that streak. I would expect him to grab control of the proceedings right from the start tonight and as long as he doesn’t get hooked up in an early duel he should lead this from start to finish.
