Horse of the Night

KENNANS NANCY LEE (6TH) : Uncorked a big closing burst to sweep by that last field in very impressive fashion. She is also capable of showing good speed as she did in her wire to wire victory here on July 3rd. She has now been first or second in eight of 13 starts this year and this looks like a perfect spot for her since she’s right back at the same level and she’s drawn in mid-pack. That should give her driver several options to help get this mare another notch in the win column.

Press Box Parlays

WIN : ALL PINK (5TH) WITH KENNANS NANCY LEE (6TH)
PLACE : BRIANNA OFFICIAL (2ND) WITH FOX VALLEY IVAN (4TH)

Tonight's Long Shots

JUST ENOUGH (7TH)
KENDYL (11TH)

Keep an Eye On These

BRIANNA OFFICIAL (2ND) : Staged a nice rally to finish third in her last outing. She has been very sharp in her last three tries and if she gets rolling just a little sooner she may be able to sweep by them all.
FOX VALLEY IVAN (4TH) : Speedball carved out some quick splits before giving way late in his last. If he can get away to an easier lead he could have enough left to hold off this group.
HECTOR B (8TH) : Ships over from Balmoral where he wound up getting collared late in his last start. As long as he can handle the turns here this speedster could be in a perfect spot to pick up a long overdue win.

Backstretch Info

ALL PINK (5TH) : Good looking filly romped to an open length victory while on the front end in her last start here. After being winless as a 2yo she has been razor sharp in her sophomore campaign winning two of her three starts. She takes on slightly tougher tonight and she’s outside but if she flashes that same kind of speed it looks like she’ll be able to gain control of things again. With a quick breather somewhere along the way she should have plenty left to hold off this group for her third win in four tries this year.
